ZOMBIE Walk - Brisbane - Sunday 23rd October
Dress up in your goulish best. The 2011 Brisbane Zombie Walk will take place on Sunday 23rd October and ambling it's way through to Centenary Place in Fortitude Valley. TROPICARNAGE CUP - Interleague State Tournament
18th, 19th and 20th November - Beenleigh Indoor Stadium (Confirmed)
Yew! Our Travel team are in training and underway to go up against other leagues from the greater QLD and Northern NSW areas. After much debate it has been confirmed that this will be a three day event with spectators for all days. There will be limited seating so hold tight for more information on how you can come and support GCRD. Also keep in mind we are on a "clean up" roster and will be calling for volunteers closer to the date to help with post-bout bump outs.

Congrats to 'PainClinic' for their win over 'MurdaMaids' 140 - 117. It was, as usual, an action-packed bout and with the Maids looking like they had it at halftime, the Painies were not gonna give up with out a fight!!

Off Skates - Wednesday 7pm-8pm Anzac statue end of the park.
A bunch of GCRD guys and Gals meet to do runs and fitness training to help keep them track ready... come along and raise a sweat with them!!! Bring water, runners a towel and be ready to sweat. ALL STAR LEVELS WELCOME. Check the GCRD Skaters page on facebook for weather cancellations.
TREASURERS NOTE
EVERY session BEFORE you gear up, see Cougarrr to pay your fees and sign on your attendance. Attendance and fees all count towards your being able to grade and bout. If you are one of the members who has outstanding fees please confirm with Cougarrr as to when/how you plan to pay them. Thanks

COMMUNICATIONS
The league has had a few changes in roles and structure over the last few weeks and the Committee would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your patience and open-mindedness while we fine tune. Congratulations to all of you who have passed your current grading and have a new exciting training regime ahead of you.
